Toxins & Civilization Club

Founder & Curriculum Designer

  • Founded SDSZ's first club devoted to toxins and civilization.
  • 30+ members.
  • Designed and taught 8 lectures and 4 workshops.
  • Topics: toxin-to-drug cases, cancer detection, evolutionary debates, public myth-busting.

I founded my school's first club dedicated to toxins and civilization, and designed its curriculum: eight lectures and four workshops for more than thirty members. Sessions moved between real toxin-to-drug cases, cancer detection, evolutionary debates, and public myth-busting — science described accurately, with no medical advice attached.

Earth, Climate & Public Learning

Club Lead Assistant & Museum Geology Docent — SDSZ Earth & Environment Club; Beijing Quaternary Glacial Remains Museum

  • Field investigations across 10 sites.
  • Museum talks and hands-on activities for 1K+ visitors.

With the Earth & Environment Club I conducted field investigations across ten sites, reading striations, till, and erratics as evidence of past glacial activity. The same work took a public form at the glacial remains museum: hands-on activities and talks for over a thousand visitors.
